On This Month's Cover:

Shortly after arrival, Bowling Green City firefighters are met by a heavy fire from a western store in Bowling Green, KY, on Jan. 24, 1996. The fire destroyed the building, which housed 12 businesses. More than 40 firefighters from Bowling Green, Alvaton and Plano battled the late-evening blaze.
